Counselling and Hypnotherapy
Counselling can mean different things to different people, however it is predominantly a ‘talk-based therapy’. It might be defined as a process people seek when they want to explore things at depth or change something in their lives in a profound way. It allows people to express their thoughts and feelings and discuss any difficult issues in a safe, confidential environment. Hypnotherapy can enhance this process by helping people bypass the more rational conscious parts of the mind that can lead to a profound transformation in the core issues underneath.
A counsellor is not there tell you what to do. Instead, you are encouraged to talk about what's bothering you and identify the root causes of your specific ways of thinking and feeling. Everyone is unique and so sessions are generally tailored to the individual.
